Pet Grief Sessions

Grief is a normal, healthy and natural response to loss. Join Pet Grief Volunteer Coordinator, Dottie Johnson for a session where you can express feelings of loss in a safe, supportive environment. Listen to others tell their story, or share your personal experience.

Grief Sessions are held at the Arlington Animal Services Center at 1000 S. E. Green Oaks Boulevard, in the Community Room. Sessions are held on the 4th Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Sessions are subject to cancellation or postponement in observance of holidays.

The September 22, 2018 session will be a special event with guest Kristie Miller of Respect A Bull, Inc. in attendance. See the article – Upcoming Pet Grief Session: Turtle the Painting Pit Bull’s Memory Lives On, and click here to see the flyer for this special event.
