Arlington residents will vote this fall on a proposed $189 million bond program that would provide funding for streets and sidewalks, parks and recreation centers, fire stations and other public facilities.

Proposition A – Street Improvements

  • Residential Rebuild Program – $33,940,000
  • Debbie Lane (Arlington city limits to SH 360) – $22,085,000
  • Intersection Improvements – $15,000,000
  • Mansfield Webb Road (Silo Road to Collins Street) – $14,670,000
  • Sublett Road (Arlington city limit to Joplin Road) – $13,035,000
  • Matlock Road (Green Oaks Boulevard to Sublett Road) – $8,020,000
  • Sidewalk Annual Program – $7,000,000
  • Downtown Pedestrian Crossing – $7,000,000
  • Mitchell Street (Collins Street to Perrin Street) $6,435,000
  • Signal/ITS Program – $6,250,000
  • Construction Materials Testing Program – $2,185,000
  • Grant Matching Funds Annual Program – $1,875,000
  • Irrigation Annual Program – $340,000

Total: $137,835,000

The amounts identified for each Street Improvement projects listed under Proposition A are estimated amounts and the City of Arlington may reallocate the amounts among the various Street Improvement projects listed or substitute other Street Improvement projects of a similar nature in accordance with the respective bond proposition.
