Releasing Funds to Landlords – Policy Update
The Arlington Housing Authority (AHA) is committed to providing superior customer service to all participating owners and their agents. Based on valuable feedback received, AHA is improving the timing of the release of first of the month Housing Assistance Payments (HAP). Effective January, 2017, AHA will release HAP payments on the first business day of each month. While the majority of participants should have access to their funds on the same day, recipients should check their bank’s policy regarding the timing of deposits into their accounts. Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions are not transmittable on weekends or holidays.
