On-Site Sewage Systems

There are several areas within the city limits that are not serviced by city sewer. In these areas the City of Arlington’s Environmental Health Division regulates, permits, and monitors private on-site sewage systems. The Health Department is also the designated representative for the Texas Commission On Environmental Quality, which is the agency that oversees on-site sewage systems throughout the state.

Prior to constructing, modifying, or repairing an on-site Sewage System, an application must be completed and the required information submitted to the City of Arlington’s:

Community Development and Planning Department

City Hall, 101 W. Abram Street, 2nd Floor.
Arlington, TX 76010

Phone: 817-459-6502
