Division Street Enhancement Design RFQ

The City of Arlington is seeking a response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from consultants interested in providing professional engineering services needed to develop the design of sidewalks and ADA ramps for the Division Street Enhancement Project.

The City of Arlington adopted the Hike and Bike System Master Plan in August of 2011. This Plan calls for a variety of sidewalk facilities in specific locations throughout Arlington. Additionally, the City adopted Discover Division, the Division Street Corridor Strategy, in 2012, which calls for improved pedestrian accommodations.

The City intends to design sidewalks along Division Street (SH 180) between Cooper Street and Collins Street. This project will be funded through the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ) and as such will have Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) oversight and must meet all federal guidelines. The project shall meet all relevant State laws and requirements including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and all applicable TxDOT construction details.

Qualifications, in accordance with the specifications and scope of work specified in the RFW, will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015.
