DO NOT RESTRIPE YOUR PARKING LOT WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING WITH CITY STAFF. The Entertainment District Zoning Overlay prohibits “overparking” – adding more parking spaces than is necessary for the use at the property – without administrative approval. Restriping a lot without completing a zoning site plan review process will be considered a zoning violation and is subject to fines.The Arlington City Council approved an ordinance regulating Special Event Parking.
