Purchasing :: Local & MWBE Initiative

The City of Arlington adopted a Local & Minority/Woman Business Enterprise (MWBE) policy with the City Council No. 13-300 on December 3, 2013.

The policy encourages full participation for local & MWBE suppliers in all phases of City procurement and subcontracting opportunities.

The city will make every effort to provide guidance for local and MWBE businesses seeking involvement in the City’s procurement process.
