Department Chaplain

Portrati of Captain Don Coker

Captain Don Coker

Retired Fire Captain Don Coker serves the role of Fire Department Chaplain. Captain Coker was employed by the Arlington Fire Department for 31 years. During his career, he led and participated in many member support programs. His compassion and concern for others was clearly demonstrated during his Fire Service career and now in his retirement. Captain Coker serves our Department in a volunteer capacity. As Chaplin, he regularly attends department meetings, is active in Departmental communications and participates in various official functions and events. We recognize the importance of having Chaplain support for all members of our organization, including support for our retired Arlington Fire Department members. Captain Coker works with the Police Department Chaplain and other area volunteers to meet the needs of our public safety team.
