The NCAA, in partnership with the Nancy Lieberman Foundation and WorldVentures Foundation, has selected the Boys & Girls Clubs of Arlington to build a special Final Four “DreamCourt” at the East Branch.  The East Branch Boys and Girls Club sits on City property at 2011 Wynn Terrace.

Kids will be able to play on a 35’ x 60’ Dream Court being built in an open area behind the current facility. The court will be constructed using the Sport Court® SportGame high performance safety surface in bright blue and orange colors.  It also includes a walkway from the parking lot and a bleacher area.

“I can’t think of a place where this Dream Court would have a greater impact than right here in East Arlington,” said Deputy City Manager Theron Bowman. “I applaud the Boys and Girls Clubs for their vision, leadership and ongoing efforts to provide incredible service to young Arlington residents.”

The main source of funding for this donated DreamCourt is coming from the Nancy Lieberman Foundation and WorldVentures Foundation. These parties agreed to donate $25,000 towards the project. The NCAA also agreed to donate a small amount as well.

Construction of the court is expected to start in February so that it can be ready for a special ribbon cutting on April 1st prior to the Final Four weekend.
