Since launching August 19, 2013, the Metro ArlingtonXpress, or MAX, has served a wide range of commuters — from college students to North Texans and tourists on their way to special events.

MAX currently connects downtown Arlington to the Trinity Railway Express CentrePort/DFW Station.  Buses currently operate from about 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

See how some UT Arlington students are using the commuter bus service.

  1. There doesn’t seem to be an option for non-student residents like myself who would like to use the Max to go to Wal-mart and the surrounding area, and back to their apartment near the university. I have a car, but if there was a like “Arlington only” at like a dollar or dollar fifty round trip ticket, that let you go between Collins and College Park, that would be awesome. Otherwise, there is no incentive to use it, bc driving and gas would be cheaper
