Arlington CVB Hosts Dr. Peter Navarro for Annual Meeting Oct. 20, 2015

The Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau is gearing up for this year’s annual meeting and breakfast celebrating the end of another fiscal year, themed “Generation NEXT.”

Arlington CVB says each year around 150-200 representatives are in attendance from Arlington attractions, restaurants and hotels to hear about the state of tourism, updates on progress and what’s in store for the next fiscal year in The American Dream City.

“Generation NEXT” will feature a welcoming speech from outgoing Board Chair, Six Flags Marketing Director Jim Brothers, followed by President & CEO Ronnie Price’s presentation “Arlington CVB Year in Review.”

This year’s guest speaker is CNBC contributor Dr. Peter Navarro, who is also a business professor at the University of California at Irvine. Over the past decade, Peter Navarro has been a keynote speaker on management, finance, global politics and the economy at hundreds of events.

The speaker needs to comment on this…..Within days of the LABC gaswell loss of control evacuation event presented a plan to allow up to 7-9 more NEW padsites of gaswells and up to 900 more gaswells altogether which includes the existing 54 padsites (if the economics allow a complete build out of Urban Drilling here in Arlington)…sure the money is beneficial, but Liveability and Tourism is JOB 1 for Arlington and they R on fracktrack to continue to fail us in that department.
