- Tri Delta Sorority hosted its second annual Delta Madness charity basketball tournament benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The sorority raised more than $4,000 for the charity even before the tournament, which included shirt sales, raffle ticket sales, and entry fees.
- Perena Gouma, a professor in the Materials Science and Engineering Department at UTA, invented a hand-held breath monitor that can detect the flu virus.
- IRS certified volunteers will be in the Central Library until April 15 to assist students with preparing their federal income taxes.
