Find Beautiful Blooms, Gardening Advice at the Fielder Plant Festival this Saturday

Come explore the wonders of gardening and find some beautiful blooms for your flowerbeds at the upcoming Fielder Plant Festival.

The festival is hosted by the Arlington Garden Club in conjunction with Master Naturalists of Arlington and the Arlington Historical Society. This year’s event, free and open to the public, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at the Fielder House Museum, 1616 West Abram St.

The Arlington Garden Club will offer a variety of plants for sale. Proceeds will support the maintenance of the Fielder Museum grounds.

The festival includes several guest speakers as well as Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists to answer questions. Participants can learn about topics such as propagation techniques for various plants or how to attract birds to their yards. The Fielder Museum will be open for regular tours and viewing during the festival, which also features a Children’s Craft Area.
