Weekly Lane Closure Look Ahead
Closures are subject to changes due to weather and schedule. Below are anticipated traffic impacts for the coming weeks.
I-30 Main Lanes- I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Copeland Road
- Through fall 2020: A temporary eastbound I-30 entrance ramp will be opened and accessible from Copeland Road between Ballpark Way and SH 360.
- I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road Intersection
- Permanently: The eastbound I-30 entrance ramp available from the Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road intersection is closed. Traffic will continue to have access to the ramp to northbound Ballpark Way.
- I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Northbound Ballpark Way
- Permanently: The eastbound I-30 entrance ramp from northbound Ballpark Way is closed for the construction of a new northbound Ballpark Way connector to eastbound Copeland Road.
I-30 HOV Lanes Between Great Southwest Parkway and Cooper Street
- Westbound I-30 HOV lane west of SH 161
- Through fall 2020, the westbound HOV lane west of SH 161 will be closed. TEXpress lane traffic will be directed into the I-30 westbound general main lanes west of SH 161.
- Eastbound I-30 HOV lane between Center Street and Duncan Perry Road
- Through fall 2020, the eastbound HOV lane access near Center St and lane through Tarrant County will be closed. TEXpress lane traffic will enter at SH 161.
SH 360 Main Lanes and Ramps
- SH 360 Southbound Main Lanes from Brown Boulevard to Randol Mill Road
- Continuously, Feb. 15, 8p-Feb. 16, 3 p.m. and Feb. 17, 12 a.m.-Feb. 18, 5 a.m.: The southbound SH 360 main lanes will be reduced to one lane between Brown Boulevard and Randol Mill Road for traffic safety barrier removal and pavement work.
- SH 360 Northbound Main Lanes from Division Street to I-30
- Overnight, Feb. 12, 8p-5a: The northbound SH 360 main lanes will be reduced to one lane between Division Street and I-30 to place temporary concrete traffic safety barrier.
- SH 360 Southbound exit to Lamar Boulevard
- Permanent: The SH 360 southbound exit to Lamar Boulevard is permanently closed. Traffic will be detoured to exit Brown Boulevard/Ave K and follow the SH 360 southbound frontage road to Lamar Boulevard. A new exit ramp will be constructed to Ave J/Lamar Boulevard/Six Flags Drive.
- SH 360 Southbound entrance to Lamar Boulevard
- Permanent: The SH 360 southbound entrance from Lamar Blvd is permanently closed. Traffic will be detoured along the SH 360 southbound frontage road to enter from the Six Flags Drive entrance ramp. A new entrance ramp will be constructed between Lamar Boulevard and Six Flags Drive.
- SH 360 Southbound Entrance from Six Flags Drive
- Permanent: The southbound SH 360 entrance ramp from Six Flags Drive will be closed to place sanitary sewer. Traffic will be directed to the next entrance ramp from Abram Street.
SH 360 Frontage Road
- SH 360 Southbound Frontage Road
- Ave K to Lamar Boulevard
- Through Feb 2019: The SH 360 southbound frontage road is reduced to one lane between Ave K and Lamar Blvd for construction of new frontage road.
- Gilbert Street to Mitchell Street
- Continuous through Feb. 14: The left lane of the SH 360 southbound frontage road between Gilbert St and Mitchell St will be closed to construct noise wall.
- SH 360 South-to-North U-turn at Lamar Boulevard
- The SH 360 south-to-north U-turn at Lamar Blvd will be closed while the SH 360 mainlanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.
- SH 360 South-to-North U-turn at Six Flags Drive
- The SH 360 south-to-north U-turn at Six Flags Dr will be closed while the SH 360 mainlanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.
- Ave K to Lamar Boulevard
- SH 360 Northbound Frontage Road
- Mitchell Street to Hollandale Circle
- Daily, through Feb. 15, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.: The left, inside lane of the northbound SH 360 frontage road will be closed between Mitchell Street and Hollandale Circle for utility work.
- SH 360 North-to-South U-turn at Abram Street
- Continuously, through Feb 9, 5p: The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Abram St will be closed for drainage work.
- SH 360 North-to-South U-turn at Six Flags Drive
- The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Six Flags Drive will be closed while the SH 360 main lanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.
- SH 360 North-to-South U-turn at Lamar Boulevard
- The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Lamar Boulevard will be closed while the SH 360 main lanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.
- Mitchell Street to Hollandale Circle
Local Streets
- Ballpark Way
- Through Winter 2019: The right, outside lane of northbound Ballpark Way between I-30 and Brinker Court will be closed for construction of the new westbound I-30 entrance to Ballpark Way.
- Permanent, The northbound Ballpark Way ramp to eastbound I-30 will be closed for reconstruction to connect with Copeland Road through winter 2019. Northbound Ballpark Way traffic may exit to Copeland Road, turn right and enter on a temporary eastbound I-30 entrance ramp.
- Ave F
- Through Fall 2018, eastbound and westbound Ave F traffic will be reduced to one lane each direction and shifted to the south side of Ave F for reconstruction of Ave F.
- Ave G
- Through Fall 2018, the 800 block of Ave G is limited to westbound traffic movement.
- Copeland Road
- Continuously, eastbound Copeland Road between Ballpark Way and Six Flags Drive is reduced to one lane for general construction.
- Through Winter 2019: Copeland Road access to Six Flags Drive will be closed through winter 2019 for reconstruction of bridges over Johnson Creek and new pavement to Six Flags Drive. Traffic will be forced onto the new temporary eastbound I-30 entrance ramp between Johnson Creek and SH 360.
- PERMANENT: Copeland Road between Six Flags Drive and the SH 360 southbound frontage road is closed.
- PERMANENT: Westbound Copeland Road from Six Flags to just east of Ballpark Way is permanently closed. Only eastbound Copeland Road traffic is allowed between Ballpark Way and Six Flags Drive.
- Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road Intersection
- PERMANENT: the I-30 eastbound entrance ramp available from this intersection is removed permanently from service. Access to northbound Ballpark Way will be maintained.
