24th Annual Yellow Rose Classic Drive on over to the Arlington Convention Center this weekend to see more than 200 classic, antique, late-model, and performance cars and trucks at the 24th Annual Yellow Rose Classic. Headed to AT&T Stadium? Remember the Bag Policy

AT&T Stadium has implemented a new policy on the types and styles of bags that are allowed inside. Bags should be one gallon re-sealable storage bags, or clear tote bags made of plastic, vinyl or polyvinyl chloride that dimensions do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Clutch bags or purses no larger than 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches can be carried with a handle, strap or within an approved plastic bag. Ansel Adams Exhibit at AMA Draws Record Crowd

A record-breaking number of people flocked to an Ansel Adams exhibition in Arlington, featuring works by the greatest landscape photographer of the 20th century. More than 10,800 people from as far away as New Zealand visited the Arlington Museum of Art’s Ansel Adams: Masterworks  exhibit, making it the most popular display ever at the museum. The three-month exhibit featured 48 photographs that Adams considered to be his best work. Adams printed the images before his death. “Heads Up Football Across America” Tour Stops in Arlington

  Members of the Arlington Thunder Youth Football Association, featuring kids between ages 5 and 12, showed off their tackling skills for NFL Media’s cameras in town for the “Heads Up Football Across America” tour. The team began incorporating Heads Up Football  – USA Football’s national initiative to make football better and safer — on for the first time this season. Are You Ready for Some Footgolf?

  The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department will “kick off” its new FootGolf course at Meadowbrook Park Golf Course with FREE green fees from 12:00-6:00 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 2. FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. Instead of golf clubs and golf balls, the game is played with a soccer ball and a 21-inch diameter cup.
