CATS Presents a Child’s Introduction to Shakespeare: Robin Goodfellow

Robin Goodfellow, an enchanting fantasy by Aurand Harris and William Shakespeare, is a felicitous blend of slapstick, suspense, music, dancing and Shakespeare’s lyric poetry. Directed by Dr. Dennis Maher, UTA theatre’s venerated professor and dramaturg, the play will be a wonderful way to welcome a (hopefully?) early spring. Celebrating 40 Years of Drama

September 2012 marks the beginning of Theatre Arlington’s 40th Anniversary Season! Theatre Arlington is proud to be celebrating 40 strong seasons of providing live, award-winning entertainment to the citizenry of Arlington and surrounding communities. On Saturday, August 18, 2012, Theatre Arlington will be celebrating 40 Years of Drama at College Park Center. Community Spotlight: Theatre Arlington

Theatre Arlington is a nearly 40-year-old nonprofit performing arts organization located in the heart of Arlington. Some call it “community theater,” but don’t be fooled by that label. Despite being a nonprofit theater, the organization puts on high-quality plays and musicals, making it well respected in the DFW acting community. “We really are a hidden gem. I’ve never had anyone leave our theater saying ‘Oh, I’m never coming back,’” Todd Hart, Theatre Arlington’s executive producer, said. “I think they’re genuinely surprised and impressed with the quality of productions we put on.” Texas Power Vice President David Chase echoed a similar sentiment.
