After performing a visual inspection of the sanitary sewer main in the area near Lake Arlington Golf Course, Arlington Water Utilities determined that the approximately 13,700 linear feet of the existing 24-inch to 36-inch sanitary sewer main needs to be replaced within the next several years.

Project status: In April 2017, the Arlington City Council approved a proposal to enter into a design contract with Halff Association, Inc. for up to $474,123.  The project is in the design stage.

Related closures and outages: The work will take place along  Green Oaks Boulevard, from Lake Arlington Drive to West Division Street. Affected residents will be notified through face-to-face interactions, social media, and email communication.

Timeline: The project is to be constructed in two phases with the most critical phase being replaced in late 2018.
